Yesterday, our Trustee Bex and Volunteer Katie visited the McElwain Ward at the @royalmarsden hospital to deliver fresh, hot pizzas to parents staying with their children.
At weekends, there’s no hot food available onsite — which makes this simple act of kindness a vital service for families going through incredibly tough times.
We’re so grateful to @sophies_legacy for giving us the opportunity to do this through their incredible charity.
Royal Marsden holds a special place in our heart as the kind staff treated Kirsty here when she was first diagnosed. Their care, support and specialist knowledge is what helped guide us and get through the one of the toughest times💜🩷
